Gifts to the University support a wide array of programs and activities, each important and essential to our success. As an important member of the MTSU family and donor to the University, we encourage you to support the program(s) of particular importance to you, confident that your gift is making a difference in the lives of our students. If you are uncertain of the specific needs of our programs, you can leave your gift undesignated or choose to direct it to a general support fund in the college or department of your choice. In addition, we have institutional funds that support campus or unit wide initiatives. Some of these include:
- The Alumni Scholarship Fund - Provides general scholarship support across the University. These awards help support students with both financial need and outstanding academic promise. Additionally, the Alumni Legacy Scholarship is awarded to the children or grandchildren of MTSU alumni.
- The Blue Raider Athletic Association - Gifts to the BRAA help support current student athletes and our athletic programs, allowing them to build on the proud heritage of Blue Raider athletics.
- First Generation Scholarship Fund - MTSU has a proud history of serving those students who represent the first in their families to attend college.
- College and Departmental Enrichment Funds - These funds, under the direction of the respective Dean or Chair, provide our academic units with monies to support a wide array of activities, including program enhancement, professional development and travel, equipment purchases, and performance awards.
