Development of Constitutional and procedural controls of the administration of criminal justice. Constitutional limits on law enforcement agencies including the laws of arrest, search and seizure, admissions and confessions, and eavesdropping; on pre-trial and trial procedures, on past conviction processes. Emphasis on current U.S. Supreme Court decisions.
