Specific monitoring, abatement techniques, and equipment. An overview of energy production processes, industrial pollution problems, air, noise, solid and hazardous wastes, along with economic and environmental concerns. Field trips, lecture, and research projects and/or papers highlight specific topics of special interest to students.
