Prerequisite: HLTH 3240 with a minimum grade of C (2.0). Theory and practice of planning, implementing, and evaluating marketing and communication programs in community and public health education. Includes a review of health communication theories, social marketing, assessment of population needs, coalition-building, health literacy, health advocacy and campaign design, implementation, and evaluation.
