Prerequisites: BIOL 2230/2231, 3250/3251; CHEM 1110/1111, 1120/1121. Basic techniques of microbial genetics and gene manipulation with emphasis on the application of molecular genetics in basic and applied research. Six hours lecture/laboratory.
