Prerequisites: BIOL 3250/3251, BIOL 4110/4111 or BIOL 2020/2021; CHEM 2030/2031 or CHEM 3010/3011. Study of hormones and other chemical messengers including synthesis, secretion, transport, receptors, cellular, and physiological activity. Focus on humans and other vertebrates. Three hours lecture.
