Prerequisite: CJA 2600 or permission of instructor. Comprehensive overview of management issues in both institutional and community corrections. Topics include organizational theory; planning, programming, and budgeting; policy analysis, program evaluation, information systems and technology; facilities management; offender classification systems; treatment programs; management of special offender populations; personnel issues.
