Prerequisites: RI majors - admission to candidacy and RIM 4300, RIM 4400, and RIM 4440 with C or better; others - permission of instructor. Laboratory experience and lectures in commercial music, recording techniques, and business designed to develop the abilities needed to become an independent producer of contemporary commercial recordings. Laboratory required.
