ART 3850 - Early Medieval Art
Prerequisites: ART 1920 and ART 1930 with grades of C (2.0) or better or permission of instructor. Surveys Early Christian, Byzantine, and Early Medieval art in Europe. Focuses on the materials, iconography, style, and historical context of art and architecture produced in Northern Europe and the Mediterranean region from the third century to the eleventh century.
