BLAW 3460 - Insurance Law
Prerequisites: Junior standing; admission into the College of Business. Risks covered by the insurance contract, their selection and control; making, constructing, and enforcing the contract; negotiation and settlement of claims; misconduct of agents. Government regulation of the insurance industry. Emphasis on current principles, policies, procedures, and practices in insurance.
