NFS 4210 - Nutrition in Aging |
Prerequisite: NFS 1240 or 2220 with C or better. Nutritional needs of elderly individuals and how these requirements are affected by physiological, pathological, and socioeconomic changes associated with aging. Emphasis placed on assessment, nutrition counseling skills, and resources to assist elderly individuals with adequate nutrient intake.
