UH 3900 - Honors Research Seminar |
Required of Honors Transfer Fellows. Introduces students from a variety of disciplines to the research methods necessary for successful completion of the honors thesis proposal and the honors thesis. Specific objectives include choosing a research topic, understanding the thesis process, identifying an appropriate faculty mentor, and drafting a tentative thesis topic. Assignments may include writing reports, assembling annotated bibliographies, and giving oral reports using appropriate technology. Course will be team-taught occasionally to expose students to multidisciplinary approaches to research.
